The Developmental Test Battery and Exercise Programme for Use in Schools © Goddard Blythe, 1996, 2008 This is a one-day course that teaches a 10-minute test battery and a structured developmental physical exercise programme (with 25 exercises) that can be implemented in schools to aid children’s learning and development.

Early Morning by the Pond
The Movement and Learning Centre Developmental Exercise Programme for children aged 4 – 6 Years for use in schools Devised by Sally Goddard Blythe (1996), Revised (2008) This is a one-day course that teaches physical exercises to help children develop and learn effectively.  The exercises are performed along with a narrated story.

Developmental Delay Within Education This one day course explains the underlying physical factors that often result in learning and behavioural problems such as dyslexia, DCD, AD(H)D, Reading and Writing difficulties etc. The course explains how to assess for developmental delay and provides a range of interventions that can be adopted to address the underlying factors that can often influence learning and behaviour.

In-service Training Opportunities
School Based Bespoke Staff Development We provide school-based opportunities for continuing professional development for teachers. Our courses detailed above can take place within the school setting. We also provide in-service training tailored to the specific needs of staff and the school. This can take the form of a full-day/half-day presentation or a series of twilight courses (after school). The Movement and Learning Centre can provide opportunities to carryout collaborative action research projects to help implement programmes of intervention in support of your staff and pupils.
